"One language sets you in a corridor for life. Two languages open every door along the way.''

Forgetting)
Language-1
The first language
is the language or dialect that a person has been exposed since childhood.
Malayalam, which is a Dravidian language is the native language of people of
Kerala state, Lakshadweep islands and Puducherry. Thunchaththu Ramanujan
Ezhuthachan is known as the father of Malayalam language and literature.
Malayalam language also has dialects which changes locally.
Language-2
A second language
is any language that the person uses other than the first language. In Kerala,
English is the second language. After colonialisation of India by the British
empire, they imposed English language on Indians. Hence, it became a second
language of many states of India including Kerala. Today English is a globally
accepted language with many dialects including British English, American
English etc.
Language-3
Third language is
the language other than the mother tongue and English that a person learns. In
Kerala, Hindi is commonly used as the third language. Hindi (Devanagiri) is
also the national language of our country. Hindi is a descendent of Sanskrit, which
is an ancient Indian language. It has been influenced by languages such as
Arabic, Persian, Turkish, Portuguese and English.
Through learning many languages one can understand the culture of the places in which they are spoken.
