Hi everyone,
Early this month
(October 2023), I accepted
a teaching position as adjunct
faculty for the newly
launched Integrated Teacher Education Programme in the
National Institute of Technology, Calicut….
I was a
bit unsure of the kind of
reception likely to receive from
students who are majoring in subjects like
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics…
But to my utter surprise I found them to be receptive and studious too…. They
even responded quickly to
an online assignment posted on WhatsApp.
This prompted me to launch a Blog with the
objective of making
available material related
to the content prescribed for
study for the paper ED1002E English for Communication.
In fact, during my two
decade long teaching career, I have found the Blogs
I launch for the students
whom I teach each academic year,
to be useful not only for
the students, but also for the general public. An additional advantage is that
the students get
a publishing platform too…
